History
Part of the armed forces of the Duchy of Tamarind-Abbey. They were assigned as garrison force for capital world of the Tamarind. 1st Tamarind Regulars Regiment was sent into action against advancing Lyran invading force of known as Broken Swords Battalion on November 29th, [3137]]. 1st fought against Swords for over course of 16 days, failing in fully overwhelming the smaller Steiner unit.
On December 14th, two battalions the 3rd Lyran Regulars arrived in Harvison Flats, with new reinforcement arriving. The unit moved in masse in desperate move to overwhelm the newcomers. With sheer determination, they managed begin to force back the invaders to their dropships.
Unfortunately, 1st failed to noticing the Broken Swords deploying in their rear flanks and they proceeded to split the unit in half with 3rd Lyran Regulars. Resulting in the total destruction of the unit.
