The 3058th Independent Aero Wing was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the LXXII Corps, Seventeenth Army, of the Periphery Military Region. They were part of the reserve for LXXII Corps, which patrolled the anti-spinward regions of the Magistracy of Canopus. The 3058th patrolled jump points in the Corps area of responsibility, and were scattered throughout the region in squadron sized formations.[1]
They later moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery to take part in the Periphery Uprising by 2765.[2] The 3058th survived the war and the Hegemony Campaign, and followed General Aleksandr Kerensky on the Exodus in 2784.[2]
