Overview
The Third Jump Infantry Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the XIX Corps, Eighth Army, to District 1 of the Free Worlds League Military Region and then transferred to District 2 by 2765 as part of the redeployment effort to fight the Periphery Uprising.[2]The 3rd was destroyed during the Hegemony Campaign.[2]

As an SLDF Jump Infantry division the 3rd would have been formed from two brigades of Jump Troops, one brigade of 'Mech regiments and two Ground Aero Wings.[3]
