The 442nd Heavy Assault Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History[edit]
They survived the Periphery Uprising and the Hegemony Campaign and in 2784 were stationed on Axton. When the call for the Exodus came, Colonel Mondevilov refused but Major Soult, commanding officer of the Third Battalion, secretly moved his command to rendezvous with an Overlord-class DropShip sent by General Kerensky to pick them up. The rest of the regiment attempted to prevent them leaving but failed.[1]
