Overview
The Five Hundred Ninth Battle Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the XLVI Corps, Nineteenth Army, to the Periphery Military Region.[1]. The fate of the 509th remains unknown.[1]
Composition
As an SLDF Battle regiment the 509th would have been composed primarily of medium to heavy 'Mechs.[2]
