In 2765, the Seventh Proserpina Hussars were stationed on Sutama and was considered a "Light" regiment. Their supporting elements consisted of two armor regiments (entirely made of hover tanks), two jump infantry regiments and one aerospace wing.[1]

Just prior to the "official" start to the First Succession War, the Seventh Proserpina Hussars, joined by the Twelfth Benjamin Regulars, attacked the world of Gram in 2785. The Sixth Donegal Guards had left the world previously and the remaining conventional regiments were no match against the two Combine BattleMech regiments.[2]
