Officially declared the Rim War in 2417 against the Taurian Concordat. The conflict had been infrequently wage for the past 20 years but Baxter decided to go all out to claim new territories. The war nearly cost Baxter his Chancellorship and drained his nation of much needed treasure.[1][2] [3]
