Avalon Shipping was a Federated Suns shipping company.[1]

History

Avalon Shipping dealt in the shipping and transportation of goods and materials across one of the largest logistics networks in House Davion territory. This led to unwanted attention from pirates and criminal syndicates.[1]

For an exceptionally large shipment that they did not want to let fall victim to larceny, Avalon Shipping tried a new plan: They leaked false information that their convoys were passing unguarded through a pair of star systems different from their actual JumpShip route; meanwhile, they hired a mercenary outfit to lie in wait at the decoy locations and be convincing enough that it distracted the pirates away from the real shipment.[1]

The mercenaries faced the Jessup's Avengers on Barstow and Castell's Pillagers on Listowel, handing out a good amount of karmic justice and forcing the them to think twice before running another raid on what they believe is a harmless supply convoy. Avalon's large shipment made it through without any pirate activity.[1]
