Brighton's Rangers were a mercenary unit in employ to House Liao in the late 29th century.

History
Capellan Confederation Chancellor Otto Liao made increased use of mercenary forces, but he specified rigid contractual conditions for charters. Brighton's Rangers broke the conditions of their original contract, prompting the Chancellor to hastily redeploy the 14th Aerospace regiment to Sax to destroy elements of the Rangers, demonstrating that the charters were enforced by the Chancellor so that mercenaries would fight on his terms and not on theirs.[1]
It was not specified if or to what extend the Rangers actually took damage, or what happened to them afterwards. They may or may not be related to the Brighton's Irregulars mercenary unit that was destroyed by Capellan forces while in House Davion employ almost a century later.
