Caliban Nebula

Description

The Caliban Nebula, also called the Veil of the Protector and Kerensky's Cloak by the Clans, is a large, elongated body of interstellar dust and gas lying coreward of the Inner Sphere in the Deep Periphery. At roughly 1,000 light years from the Periphery-Inner Sphere border, the Caliban Nebula blocks all view of the Kerensky Cluster and Pentagon Worlds from the Inner Sphere, a fact that would make locating the Clan Homeworlds that much more difficult.

No information on its approximate size or volume has been recorded to date, but it seems to be a celestial body of at least 200 light years length, measured anti-spinward to spinward.
