Which left suspicions of about her command leanings. These suspicions were not lift until mid of 3068 when the Irregulars were fighting the Blakists. The units suffered grevious damage from those battles, reducing the unit to third of original strength.

More presistently, the unit was had allegations of piracy or least involved. The 11th Arcturan Guards have posted them on their own criminal watch list. However, the governments that worked to defend have been including Main Street, New St. Andrews, and Campoleone, hotly disputed allegations of piracy. They infact 8th Lyran Regulars deployed elments of the Irregulars with them on two occasions.

The unit has been known to have the best tech support on Periphery border, which has kept their strength to stay strong. The unit uses civilian carriers based out of Timbuktu Theater of Lyran Alliance for its transportation needs. They exchange protection to the service in exchange of being able interstellar transport to their various jobs.

As of 3071, the unit has added company of BattleMechs, infantry and armor to their roster. The new additions to the rooster have rumored to be from remains of other commands destroyed by the Word of Blake in the Perphiery. The command sighting security concertins have not comfirmed nor denied any these rumors. This has been given them ranking of "Questionable". The co-commanders of the unit, have adviced anyone who doubts their integrity to look else where if they don't trust them.

Officers

  • Colonel Ariel Peregrine-Simson - Native of Outreach & graduate of Wolf Dragon's Outreach Mercenary Training Command. She is a shrewd strategist and uncomprising commander. She pilots a custom Huron Warror BattleMech.
  • Colonel Obadiah "Jake" Chowla - Gifted Mechwarrior of uncertain origin whom rose to command from the little to no formal training. He is a charismatic leader known for multi-level down and dirty tactics.

Tactics

The Iregulars engage the enemy from multiple points, giving the enemy to describe them as fighting a mystical multi-head hydra. Both commanders are known to be fighting from the front of the battle.

Composition

The unit describes itself as a "Heavy Battalion". It is deiberately imprecise designation due to their nature. The unit is trained to split apart into designated or ad hoc formations, such special companies, demi-companies for special purposes and confuse the enemy. The unit as of 3071: consists of thirty nine of BattleMechs of mixed age & classes. Irregulars employ two companies of regular infantry & platoon of conventional Armor which assigned regularly as security. Only have one dropship, a Seeker Class Dropship which is kept in perfect order.

Notes

The unit after the Jihad decided to join the Rim Commonality after the Jihad. Becoming known as the 1st Rim Commonality Guard. The unit has then retained its combat tactial, as well as least one of it commanding officers, descentant of Chowla commands the unit.
