The Cyclops Eye was a Large Laser produced by Cyclops Incorporated.[1][2] [3]
Description
Developed towards the end of the Third Succession War primarily for their Drillson Heavy Hover Tank, while most Succession Wars era heavy lasers feature vulnerable long barrels and focusing mirrors, the Cyclops Eye Laser was unique for it use of both laser and particle beam technology, resulting in a small slit like emission blister.[1][2][3]
Instead of firing beam of light or a stream of particles, the Cyclops Eye actually used a combination of both working together to produce a beam of tremendous power. [1][2] While this process is no more effective in combat than the large lasers produced by Diverse Optics or Martell, it does make the Cyclops Eye easier to maintain and manufacture. [1][2][3]
