David Roy Lear was the eldest child of Kai Allard-Liao and Deirdre Lear. He would go on to help Devlin Stone with the formation of the Republic of the Sphere.

David was born on Odell in 3052.[4]
Death
David died in early 3128, a loss which it was devastating for Devlin Stone. Cast adrift without his best friend and confident, he quickly became a virtual recluse, and two years later, he resigned and disappeared.[5]
