David Renard was a Colonel in the Lyran Alliance on the world of Carver V during the FedCom Civil War.
Biography
Death
Seeing no alternative to end the tyranny of House Steiner on Carver V, Baxter and Major Kelly agreed (though refused to take part in the battle) that the only way to free the planet was to eliminate Renard. After fighting through Steiner forces, Renard and his personal lance would challenge the Mercenary forces for one final duel, ending with Renard's defeat. Diaz later confirms his death by stating that Colonel Renard didn't eject from his mech. With his death, Carver V remains free and was renamed Liberty.

During the Campaign on Carver V, Renard piloted a modified Atlas with jump jets.
