The Disappearing Battleship of Merope is a legendary story about a Black Lion class battlecruiser that was seen and video-recorded orbiting the planet Merope. When AFFS aerospace fighters came to investigate the presence of the WarShip, the vessel suddenly disappeared, leaving no trace of its existence. [1]

Not to be confused with the Tripitz Affair.[citation needed]

The Disappearing Battleship of Merope is often associated with other legends of the returning SLDF such as the Minnesota Tribe and the Vandenberg White Wings. [1]
