The Golden Ordun was a short lived alliance between both Clans Hell's Horses and Jade Falcon followers of the Mongol Doctrine in the 32th century.

History

The Golden Ordun, named after Gold's Horde, was formed by Malvina Hazen after achieving the rank of Khan of Clan Jade Falcon. To compensate for the lack of troops the Falcons needed to expand into the Lyran Commonwealth after the Falcon Civil War, Malvina Hazen contacted Clan Hell's Horses, which shared another version of "Mongol Doctrine".

Hazen had already forcefully absorbed the Horse's Fire Horse Galaxy in 3136, after killing his leader in a farce Trial of Position.[1] However, Hazen needed more Horse units. In 3144, Khan Hazen ordered a series of Trials of Position accidentally devastating large areas on Hell Horse controlled worlds. The need of more resources and the fear of Malvina's reprisals forced the Horse's Khan accept the Hazen's offer.

The Horses however, were never fully committed to the Ordun. Most of the Hell Horse warriors were horrified by the Falcon's atrocities. Hell's Horses' Beta Galaxy, the original founders of the Doctrine, fully embraced Malvina's tactics, and eventually fell victim to their own strategy. On Timkovichi, in order to destroy the Kell Hounds, Malvina Hazen ordered an orbital bombardment into the main engagement area, destroying the majority of the Kell Hounds and most of the Horses' Beta Galaxy.[2]

Luckily the Horses' Khan sent only part of her touman to fight with the Falcons, keeping their losses low.[3]

In 3145, after the Ordun's attack on Hesperus II failed, both Clans suffered heavy losses. The Horses' Khan would dissolve the Ordun, returning to their Occupation Zone.[4]
