Formerly know as Blandford's Grenadiers.
History
The Homeworld of the Holdfast Guard is Capella. Originally a part of the pre-Confederation Tikonov Union Guards, Colonel Harrison Blandford reorganized one of its Grenadier Regiments and added it to Franco Liao's Capellan Defense Force.
In 3025, the unit is known as Blandford's Grenadiers, they were renamed sometimes in the 3050's to the Holdfast Guard after choosing to remain in service of House Scions.
During the Fourth Succession War the unit was stationed on Capella and didn't see any fighting.

As of 3063 the Commanding Officer was Sang-shao Anson Quinn. As of 3067 the Commanding Officer was Sang-shao Ulan Bey
