Overview

A Hostile Environment Suit is a common airtight suit used to protect against hostile environments including chemical and biological agents. While it shares many of the features of its lighter cousin, this heavier and more encumbering suit can survive in practically any setting, from the vacuum of space to the deepest ocean floor to the interior of an active volcano. It is also partially powered by actuators and myomer musculature, similar in setup to BattleMechs, incorporates an integral six-hour air supply and attachment points on the arms and torso for various equipment such as laser cutters. While not specifically designed for combat, its thick, pressurized skin can resist most small arms fire.[1]
