The Stormtroopers formed the militia of the planet Idlewind. During the Clan invasion of 3050, the Stormtroopers led Trinary Assault's Elementals of the Third Jaguar Cavaliers into a napalm trap. Unfortunately this caused no casualties but enraged the Clan warriors into a killing frenzy, after which the entire Trinary was ordered to find the dishonourable surats that set the trap.
