Jeffrey Amaris was an early 27th century ruler of the Rim Worlds Republic.
Following the assassination of his sister Amanda Amaris Jeffrey stepped forward to restore order. He followed through with Amanda's democratic reforms but developed a distaste for statecraft and resigned office a year later.
