Laser Anti-Missile Systems (LAMS)are an improvement upon the standard AMS systems fielded by both Inner Sphere and Clan units. Essentially a small pulse laser modified to target incoming munitions, a LAMS doesn't run out of ammunition like its standard counterpart but builds up heat as it fires. LAMS are available to both Clan and Inner Sphere.
