The Light Bridgelayer is the lightest and weakest, but most portable of all bridging devices. Like all Bridgelayers it is used to deploy a 30 meter bridge weighing 1 ton to cross rivers, terrain of up to 30 meters apart and 30 meters in differing heights, or other difficult terrain. The Light Bridgelayer has a standard load of 8 tons, but can support up to 16 tons of weight crossing it at any given time before collapsing.[1][2]
