The FSS Marlette was a Robinson-class transport in service with the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns during the First Succession War.

History

One of the relatively small number of ships to have either not been drafted into the task forces that fought at the Battle of Cholame or a survivor of the battle, the Marlette was still active in March 2814, when she acted as the lead ship of the three-ship naval escort for the AFFS task force dispatched to liberate Dahar IV. Operating alongside a pair of Davion II-class destroyers, the Marlette battled the only Draconis Combine Admiralty WarShip on station in the system, the Aegis-class heavy cruiser DCA Eos. Although the Eos was outnumbered, it used nuclear-tipped capital missiles to deadly effect, crippling both destroyers and inflicting heavy damage on the Marlette before being destroyed.
