MegaMek

MegaMek is a freeware adaptation of the Classic BattleTech rules that allows online and bot battles. It follows CBT rules very closely and currently is adding the rules from Tactical Operations. Aerospace and Battleforce will eventually be implemented.

The game is Java-based, so works on all operating systems that support the Java Runtime Environment.

There are also scenarios, map and camo packs that can be found on various forums.

There also exists MegaAero, which combines AeroTech and BattleSpace. There are still some bugs (the bot doesn't work) and it lacks some fighters, DropShips, JumpShips and WarShips.
