History

In 3112 Captain Kowalski was the Commanding Officer of the Howler Monkeys when they led the defense of Mansu-ri against the Fourth Andurien Cavalry. The Howler Monkeys' forces included by two full lances of Black Hawk BattleMechs and were able to stall the Andurien forces enough for reinforcements to arrive and save the day for the Oriente Protectorate. Kowlaski died during the battles but was posthumously granted a minor noble title by Captain-General Marik, who was impressed enough by the performance of the Black Hawks used by the Howler Monkeys that several more production runs of the 'Mechs were ordered from Clan Sea Fox.[1]
