History

Formed in 3056 as a single company of infantry with air support.
The unit had contracts with the Lyran Alliance and th Federated Suns.

Officers

Captain Keith A. Mick man who may be quite satisfied with his live as mercenary.

Tactics

The unit trained hard for air raid, quick-strike, and guerilla operations.
They advertise themselves for scout and infiltration missions.

Composition

SUPPORT Technical: 100% They uses their own Planetlifters and a lance of Karnovs for quick transports and have combat engineers which are trained to set up temporary airfields.

The unit contains
one combat VTOL lance,
one infantry-transport lance,
and a third lance of mechbusters.

Due to the fragility of VTOLs, force composition changes pretty often. Nonetheless, a general composition of one combat VTOL lance, one infantry-transport lance, and a third lance of conventional fighters is the standard Captain Mick tries to employ at all times. The pride of the company is its lance of Mechbuster fighters, always held in reserve for “that special occasion.” The Rangers’ infantry support—often raised from local sources— varies from mission to mission.
