N&D is a one of several joint venture between two massive Lyran Commonwealth companies: Defiance Industries and Nashan Diversified. It was founded after the Fourth Succession War. Defiance apparently provided some blueprints and technical know-how, while Nashan provided funding and equipment.[1]
