General

The academy produce the finest graduates of the hole League. The age for entrance is early, at the age of twelve and receive intense conventional training until at the age sixteeen. In the following four years most cadets gruates

Enrollment

Except for the members of the Orloff family, entrance is granted only through invitation. Few refuse a place at this prestigouse academy. Only the most promising youngesters are selected as students.

Basic Training

In the first four years instill a sense of family among the cadets. The daily life consists of physical training and drill. Cadets receive extensive Instruction in hand-to-hand combat, wilderness survival techniques, the use of fire arms and bladed weapons also.

Advanced Individual Training

The Academy offers only Mechwarior MOS but also provides advandeced courses in leadership and strategy for the use in combined arms operations. The final exam are known as "El Diablo", an chaotic multi regimental battle. In the ongoing scenarion they must lead a unit after the "death" of the senior officier. The pass mark is a 25 percent score (to save a quarter of the League units) and any student how get more than 50 percemt earns an honor score.

Atmosphere

The excelent teacher-pupli ratio (because the small size of the academy) is good for the students. Much of the intensive training occours in the early years. The theory is put into practice expierence int the final years. This circumstances will work for the good in ther future career.

Graduation

After the graduation many cadets receive senior command posts and the strong espric de corps survive the the time a the academy. This lead to the "Orloff Mafia" manifistated in bearing of the ceremonial dirk reveived after their final tests. The new promoted lietenats make the first tour of duty within the Orloff grenadiers.
