The Placidia Guards were part of the militia forces defending the worlds of the Oberon Confederation.[1]
Contents
History
At the start of the Clan Invasion in August 3049 Placida was attacked by the Bronze Keshik of the Clan Wolf Gamma Galaxy. A majority of the planet's defenders, the Placidia Guards, were caught completely off-guard by the attack and the unit was destroyed during fighting on the Usilic Ridge.[2]

Composition History
The unit was formed by one Company of 'Mechs and one Battalion of Mechanized Infantry.[1]
