History

The Ravager was a Union-class DropShip. At some point between 17 November and 13 December 3057 the Ravager and its sister ship Lightning had joined Brandal Gareth's new Free Star Republic. Flying the Free Star Republic's colors, they captured the JumpShip Caliban (and the DropShip Miranda) in the Laiaka system. The Ravager fired a warning shot at the Caliban (which nevertheless hit, causing light damage) when they did not immediately cooperate.

They pressed the Caliban into service and made it transport them to the Hesperus system's zenith jump point, where both the Ravager and the Lightning wound up in a fight against elements of the Gray Death Legion. Following the recapture of the Caliban and the local recharge station by Legion forces, the Ravager and the Lightning moved away towards the planet. They would not reach it before the rebellion in which they had partaken had been put down.[1]
