History

The Richthofen was a Union-class DropShip operated by Clan Nova Cat as part of the 3rd Nova Cat Aerospace Cluster. Under Star Captain Hewe, it took part in the Battle of Luthien during the Clan Invasion.

Notes

• Although described as a Clan vessel, the Richthofen is consistently stated to be Union-class in the Luthien scenario pack. At the time of the book's publication the Union-C-class normally used by the Clans was not yet introduced (Technical Readout: 3057 was first published in 1994, i.e. a year later). It is conceivable though that the Clans may have captured regular Union-class vessels from the Inner Sphere prior to 3052, and deployed such captured vessels in the Battle of Luthien.
