History
The Rough Rider was a Monolith-class JumpShip serving in the touman of Clan Wolf as of 3052, specifically the Beta Reserve Star of the Clan Wolf Naval Reserve. As such, it would be assigned to combat units for ferrying troops as required, and otherwise serve alongside the transport vessels of the civilian castes to ferry supplies.[1]
2823 vessel
A ship named Rough Rider was the flagship of the Grand Fleet assembled by ilKhan Nicholas Kerensky during the Trial of Annihilation over Clan Wolverine to pursue the Wolverine survivors as they attempted to flee back to the Inner Sphere in late 2823.[2]
Its class and type were not mentioned. From the context, Kerensky's flagship would most likely have been a WarShip, but it cannot be ruled out that it was in fact the same JumpShip that still served Clan Wolf more than two centuries later.
