Description
The Routemaster Hover Shuttle is a small civilian transport, intended provide inexpensive transportation option to residents, typically seen in large cities. Built by Defiance Industries' Civilian Division, the Roadmaster solution where big need with vehicle that don't need not a lot infrastructure. The vehicle can transverse most terrains, including waterways as it driven on the routes.
In service since 2770, the Routemaster are popular vehicles, including in the Lyran Capital World, where in Tharkad City the vehicle's red livery is a beloved feature of the city to it's citizens. Even Archon Katherine Steiner-Davion during her rule in the 3050s-3060s attempted change the beloved vehicle's color schem to her preferred Steiner Blue meet with significant resistance by city's citizenry, she back off from the plans.[1][2]
Equipment and Capabilities
Built on an small chassis, the vehicle's ICE Powerplant can propel it to excess of 150 k/pmh, while transporting it's 13 passengers and driver. While not a cargo hauler, the vehicle has a modest cargo capacity of 85kg. It's shell is armored with 86kg of BAR 3 grade commercial armor to offer protection from minor collisions typical seen on the roadways.[1][2]
Notes
- As of this writing, the Routenmaster has no record sheet nor battle value assigned to it.
- When first published in TRO: Vehicle Annex, two images of hover buses were presented in the picture with no description of which was the Routemaster and the Lewis Skimmer Bus. The image of the Routemaster is what was officially posted on Catalyst Game Labs's official unit Listing site. Thus the official image what vehicle appears to be.
