Sandra Salmen was a Mechwarrior with an unknown past who fought on Solaris VII for Blackstar Stables. She was observed following rituals similar to those performed by Clan Nova Cat warriors on a vision quest, though another theory suggested she was a former Com Guards warrior still practicing the rites of that mystical Order.
Nigel Daelun, stablemaster of Blackstar Stables was first attracted by Sandra's good looks, and then found himself further enamored by her uncanny ability to target weak points of armor on any 'Mech she faced. He quickly offered a spot in his stable and assigned her a 'Mech.[1]
