The Silhouette was an Overlord-class DropShip. Operated by the mysterious Green Ghosts in an attack against Tomans, it was famously captured by the newly-minted Star Seeds mercenary unit on 13 July 3069.[1]

The Star Seeds had been waiting just outside the sensor range of the Green Ghosts' JumpShip (reportedly a Magellan-class vessel[2]). They rammed the Silhouette with their own DropShip (reportedly the Model 96 "Elephant"-class tug Syssiphus[2]), forcing open the bay doors, and then began a boarding action through the openings. The Green Ghosts' JumpShip was unable to intervene because its weapons would have caused more damage to the Silhouette than to the Star Seeds' DropShip.[2]
Notes[edit]
Although the Star Seeds initially took possession of the Silhouette, it was not reported in the unit's entry in Mercenaries Supplemental Update, suggesting they had given the ship away by late 3071.
