The StarHawk was a Leopard CV-class DropShip. As of 3095 it was operated by the mercenary unit Mitchell's Nighthawks, commanded by Captain Karen Hoffsinger.
On 22 January 3095 Mitchell's Nighthawks, recently hired to defend the planet Westover in the former Free Worlds League from the depredations of a pirate group called the Hades Brotherhood, arrived in-system to find that a Brotherhood raid was underway. The Nighthawks sent two Leopard CV DropShips — the StarHawk and the SunHawk — to intercept the raiders' Overlord-class DropShip Brotherhood Two just short of its JumpShip at a pirate jump point six hours from Westover. In a pitched battle, the pirate DropShip was destroyed.[1]
