Plagiarism
This is copied entirely from the first edition MechWarrior book (completely plagiarized). I've added the beginnings of the historical elements as separate pages (that will be expanded in later revisions), especially around the Succession Wars. Bdevoe 20:20, 31 August 2007 (CDT)
- Most everything that you see from the old BattleTech MUSE seems to fall under that category. Some of it also appears to hail from 20-Year Update, but I don't have that book to be able to confirm. Scaletail 11:15, 2 September 2007 (CDT)

Second Soviet Civil War
- I feel that this should be changed, the second soviet war... what?? This sounds like an alternate history time line, although I'm sure that recent books are different.— The preceding unsigned comment was posted by 70.118.214.224 (talk • contribs) 11 November 2007 .
- The Second Soviet Civil War was a feature of the BTech storyline as late as MechWarrior, Second Edition. Given real-world events, the early BTech history no longer includes that. It simply states that Western nations banded together, but doesn't explain why. Scaletail 12:39, 11 November 2007 (CST)
