:::::I see what going on with the Khan's Partisan.  Apparently you had to edit section its listed, you see why the person wrote it. It appears that its the name used i the German books.  In the American books, its the Khan's Irregulars.  What do you do when you run into that?  Do we go with the German or English name? I'd say we'd go with english name and note that alternate name else where in the article. -- [[User:Wrangler|Wrangler]] 18:54, 16 September 2009 (UTC)

Humm, Needs a disambiguation Page... Horse-Animal, Horse-Character, any others?--Cameron 18:39, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

Why not move it to Horse Jade Falcon? Most other non-bloodname Clan characters use this substitue for surname in later novels to cut down on confusion. Mainly used in Inner Sphere circles. I would not like to see important name (non-bloodname characters) being stuck in disambiguation pages because don't have surnames. -- Wrangler 18:49, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

The Khan's Partisans?

Where did this name come from? In Jade Falcon's novel Freebirth or Falcon Rising, Horse's unit was called Khan's Irregulars. -- Wrangler 18:54, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

Sorry, doing drive-by admining; did you put a citation needed tag on it?--Revanche (talk|contribs) 14:18, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
Not yet, though I am unsure how to. :) I will dig through my books in next couple days to find out. I was working on a article related the big three i was doing. I'm absolutely certain that Falcon Rising has Horse's unit called Khan's Irregulars.-- Wrangler 15:06, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
Easy! Just put {{citation needed}} or {{cn}} after the sentence (or paragragh) in question. You can find it quickly under the tool bar by clicking on 'Insert a template'. Also, check out Help:Commonly used templates; you're such a prolific Editor, you might find some other helpful templates there. --Revanche (talk|contribs) 15:54, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
I see what going on with the Khan's Partisan. Apparently you had to edit section its listed, you see why the person wrote it. It appears that its the name used i the German books. Agree. --Revanche (talk|contribs) 20:45, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
Technically, German-language material is considered non-canon, so I would also go with English-language material (and have in the past) when in doubt. I think noting that it was translated differently into German would be a fantastic "note". --Scaletail 00:03, 17 September 2009 (UTC)
