:Thanks for posting these.  I did some preliminary research and here is what I found.  This appears to be the Italian version of the MWAoD rulebook that WizKids posted on their website.  This can be seen through  [http://web.archive.org/web/20051123022254/http://www.wizkidsgames.com/mechwarrior/mw_article.asp?cid=39289&frame=products this archived WizKids page].  (Check under Rules and Downloads.)  The original rulebook can be downloaded through WebArchive.  That rulebook is titled ''MechWarrior: Age of Destruction Quick-Start and Rules of Warfare''.  The style and title translation match the Italian translation.  I also found [https://web.archive.org/web/20051024001224/http://www.nexusgames.com:80/games.asp?path=games/col/mechwarrior/rules this archived Nexus Games site] that seems analogous and is likely where Nexus originally posted the Italian version.  It appears that WebArchive did not archive the rulebook (at least through this link).

:I think the best course of action would be to create an article for ''MechWarrior: Age of Destruction Quick-Start and Rules of Warfare'' and then post a note about the Italian edition there.  This would be similar to our treatment of the Quick Start Rule booklets.  (There is also ''MechWarrior: Dark Age Rules of Warfare'' (accessible [http://web.archive.org/web/20040804132915/http://www.wizkidsgames.com/mwdarkage/mw_article.asp?cid=36770&frame=howtoplay here], which is the rulebook for MechWarrior: Dark Age, that could/should also receive its own page.)  I can put these two on my eventual to-do list.  Of course if someone feels strongly inclined to take that on, I can also take the role of lending support.  --[[User:Dude RB|Dude RB]] ([[User talk:Dude RB|talk]]) 22:11, 11 February 2023 (EST)

Italian edition[edit]

These are the cover and credits pages from a 48-page Italian translation of the MWDA rulebook. It was suggested I put these images up to be sure of the identification. MWDA Italian cover.jpg MWDA Italian credits.jpg Madness Divine (talk) 19:03, 11 February 2023 (EST)

Thanks for posting these. I did some preliminary research and here is what I found. This appears to be the Italian version of the MWAoD rulebook that WizKids posted on their website. This can be seen through this archived WizKids page. (Check under Rules and Downloads.) The original rulebook can be downloaded through WebArchive. That rulebook is titled MechWarrior: Age of Destruction Quick-Start and Rules of Warfare. The style and title translation match the Italian translation. I also found this archived Nexus Games site that seems analogous and is likely where Nexus originally posted the Italian version. It appears that WebArchive did not archive the rulebook (at least through this link).
I think the best course of action would be to create an article for MechWarrior: Age of Destruction Quick-Start and Rules of Warfare and then post a note about the Italian edition there. This would be similar to our treatment of the Quick Start Rule booklets. (There is also MechWarrior: Dark Age Rules of Warfare (accessible here, which is the rulebook for MechWarrior: Dark Age, that could/should also receive its own page.) I can put these two on my eventual to-do list. Of course if someone feels strongly inclined to take that on, I can also take the role of lending support. --Dude RB (talk) 22:11, 11 February 2023 (EST)
