The Longest Day is a serialized story by Jason Schmetzer that was published online on BattleCorps in six parts between 4 April and ? 2014. Narrating the demise of the Seventh Hell's Brigade mercenary unit, the story was spun out of a brief (three sentences) description of the conquest of Virentofta from the Invading Clans sourcebook (p. 64).
