The Rock was large, snowy asteroid in the system under same name. It contained breathable atmosphere, while the surface was covered with snow, and red, iron-rich rocks. The Rock was known to be a place where Kenny Ryan's pirates enstablished their base shortly before Clan Invasion. Kell Hounds were dispatched against them, though Clan Wolf made it first, eventually attacking the Hounds and capturing Phelan Kell.[2]

Rock system was made mostly of asteroids, where vaious mining operations were carried, mostly the water mining.
