History
The Somme was an Overlord-class DropShip in service with the Federated Suns' First Robinson Rangers regiment. In January 3072 it was one of the ships of the assault fleet that brought the Robinson Rangers and elements of the Com Guards to Robinson to re-capture the world from the Word of Blake. A satellite at the jump point captured an image of the vessel, with "a flowery name painted on the hull".[1]
