History[edit]

Based upon the design of the earlier MCS Danai Centrella, the MCS Tuatha de Danann was the first of a new class of Pocket WarShip based upon the Vengeance-class fighter carrier. The Tuatha de Danann was an almost-exact copy of the Danai Centrella and entered service in 3083 as part of an agreement between the Canopian government and the government of the Capellan Confederation that allowed engineers from Earthwerks Limited access to reverse engineer the Danai Centrella in exchange for supplying the Magistracy of Canopus with Vengeance hulls.[1]

Having launched the Tuatha de Danann, Earthwerks went on to launch a number of new ships, alternating deliveries between the two navies. Following the launch of the Tuatha de Danann, Earthwerks delivered the CNS Fuuzi for the Capellan Confederation Armed Forces and then the MCS Emerald Queen.[1]
