I like [[the Clans]], and I have ever since the [[BattleTech Compendium]] and [[Technical Readout: 3050]].  I remember the complainers too, they have yet to be culled for their insolent lack of faith.  I think Seafox/Diamondshark/Seafox is the coolest clan, though I like the Wolves, Bears and Falcons each for their own reasons.  I feel the writers did a wonderful job making the Jags the big bad boogeyman who gets slain on the alter of good versus evil in a universe full of ambiguous moral choices.

I often wonder (lol), what is going on spinward?  The [[JarnFolk]] are said to trade up to 1,000 light years spinward of their little cluster.  That is a lot of space to cover for trading, must be good reasons!  That is what I like about the Periphery--the possibilities.  (it also says that the JarnFolk warn of a highly aggressive militant culture out in the deeps of space.  Most likely they speak of the Clans, but ya never really know for sure, do you?)

Hello!

Random facts about me added at random times spurred on by random impulses

BattleTech

I enjoy probably 90% of what takes place outside of the Inner Sphere. More like 70% for events on the inside. The Periphery is where I like to roam.

I am a fan of the Draconis Combine. Just thought I would get that out of the way. lol

The Periphery (original run) is my favorite sourcebook of all time. I love every single bit of fluff inside that old cover with the Oberon Confederation space suited skeleton. Anyone know that guy's name? :) Think I'll keep calling him Eddie.

I like the Taurian Concordat and Magistracy of Canopus, and the Raven Alliance is incredibly intriguing in my opinion. They are more or less my favorite Periphery State of the old classic Periphery States right now, though I still like the others.

The Marian Hegemony is awesome too. Space Romans vae victus!

What's cooler than the Marians? The Escorpio Imperio! Can't wait to learn more about that!

I like the Clans, and I have ever since the BattleTech Compendium and Technical Readout: 3050.
