Thanks for the welcome, Frabby, and the assist with the Killers (I forgot about the Wilson's Hussars connection). I've actually been editing for several years on Sarna, it's just mostly been minor stuff and keeping an eye on the Design Quirks page. Look forward to continuing to do so.Schottenjaeger (talk) | Thanks for the welcome, Frabby, and the assist with the Killers (I forgot about the Wilson's Hussars connection). + | Hi again, saw your additions to the Ostroc notable pilot section. + | Also, there was a discussion here on Sarna a couple of years ago as to what constitutes a "notable pilot". Although this isn't a policy, we determined that the TRO notable pilots section isn't quite the gold standard here. For Sarna BTW purposes, we agreed that a "notable pilot" should be a character that is both reasonably well-known to the general BattleTech fan base as a character (i.e. they would usually have to be novel protagonists or important characters that appear across several publications), and also someone who is associated with the 'Mech in question to the point of the character's name easily coming to mind when discussing the 'Mech. Examples of such pairings would be Natasha Kerensky and her Warhammer, the Bounty Hunter and his Marauder, or Justin Allard-Liao and his Centurion. Welcome[edit]
Personal Welcome[edit]
It's always nice to see names registering here that I recognize from elsewhere. Welcome to Sarna, and thank you for your contributions!
I have done some copyedits on the Santander's Killers article. In particular, I noted that you gave names to references but then still spelled out the entire reference each time you used it. The ref name=NAME function allows several uses of one and the same reference footnote, by later using as a reference. (Check out the changes I made to the article.) Hope that's helpful. :) Frabby (talk) 00:39, 21 February 2017 (EST)

Notable Pilots[edit]
Hi again, saw your additions to the Ostroc notable pilot section. You haven't done anything wrong here, but keep in mind that the notable pilot section in 'Mech articles should be one-liners (yes I know, I oftentimes miss that mark myself), with a link to the article about the pilot where more detailed would be found.
Also, there was a discussion here on Sarna a couple of years ago as to what constitutes a "notable pilot". Frabby (talk) 04:16, 23 February 2017 (EST)
