Overview[edit]
In 2970, the Lyran Commonwealth sent elements of the 12th Star Guards to raid the world of La Blon. There, the mercenaries deployed their Spider BattleMechs to hit a Combine supply depot. Using the speed of these machines, the mercenaries were able to hit one area of the target and then hit another location while the Combine defenders were still responding to the first attack. This allowed the Guards to cut down the defenders and then secure the supplies in the depot.[1]
The Combine was unable to rally and the Guards escaped off world with the supplies they secured from the depot.[1]
