Captain Carver McCool was a MechWarrior with the Red Lancers during the thirty-first century.[1]

McCool commanded a recon company with the Capellan Confederation's Red Lancers, including during the reign of Chancellor Romano Liao. He was notable for refusing to give in to the pall which reduced morale during Romano's Chancellorship, continuing to showcase his talent.
He was however subject to complaints of physical abuse by subordinates from other companies with the Red Lancers, though these reports were buried by his superiors.[1]
