Charles Greely was a MechWarrior and officer who served in the Eridani Light Horse, and later Clan Goliath Scorpion and the Escorpión Imperio, in the thirty-first century.[1][2]

Early Career[edit]
The Regulus-born Greely first signed on with the Eridani Light Horse in 3023.[2] By 3025 he was a Lieutenant and commander of the Recon Lance, 3rd Recon Company ("Slashers"), 11th Recon Battalion of the 71st Light Horse Regiment.[1]
Task Force Serpent[edit]
In 3059 Greely was still with the 11th Recon Battalion, with whom he joined Task Force Serpent, and participated in fighting against Clan Smoke Jaguar during the invasion of Huntress in the Clan Homeworlds. He remained with the Second Star League garrison on Huntress after the invasion, eventually being taken as abtakha by Clan Goliath Scorpion, together with most of the remaining members of his unit.[2] However, according to Khan Ariel Suvorov, by February of 3075, all of the other Scorpions' warriors who originated as abtakha taken from the Eridani Light Horse were dead.[3] Thus, it is implied he is one of the handful of members who were absorbed into the Clan and survived the Wars of Reaving.
Escorpión Imperio[edit]
With Clan Goliath Scorpion, Greely continued as an active MechWarrior to an advanced age, surviving the Wars of Reaving and still being seen in his 'Mech in the Escorpión Imperio as late of 3090.[2]
BattleMech[edit]
Greely was known to have piloted a Wasp BattleMech, which despite being increasingly battered, he piloted from at least 3023 to 3090.[1][2]
