Cyclops Lore and Blueprint is a short story by Randall N. Bills published for MechWarrior Online Legends' Hero 'Mech Lore series in MWO's public internet forum.

Canonicity

Although MechWarrior Online Legends as such does not fall under the current criteria for canon, the fiction for the Hero 'Mechs written by Randall N. Bills—who at the time was also the incumbent BattleTech Line Developer at Catalyst Game Labs—was expressly declared fully canonical. At the same time, the Hero 'Mechs themselves and the configurations offered by MechWarrior Online Legends were still not considered canon beyond what was expressly put down in the fiction pieces.

Plot Summary

The story narrates part of an engagement between the Eridani Light Horse and the Fourth Proserpina Hussars, on Fellanin II during the War of 3039, from the perspective of Major Ariana Winston in her personal BattleMech Sleipnir.
