Command Sergeant Major Douglas Trum was a Federated Suns and Federated Commonwealth battle armor trooper during the FedCom Civil War and Word of Blake Jihad.[1]

Early Life[edit]
Trum was born in the Pleiades Cluster, but grew up to be a strong partisan of the Federated Suns. He joined the Armed Forces of the Federated Commonwealth and served in the infantry, for approximately 20 years before the commencement of the FedCom Civil War.[1]
FedCom Civil War[edit]
At the outbreak of the FedCom Civil War, Trum's unit backed the Loyalist cause, and he remained with his long term comrades despite his own political views. Having served the losing side, he mustered out of the military at the end of this conflict, thinking his career has been ruined.[1]
Word of Blake Jihad[edit]
With the start of a new conflict, Trum was recruited by General Motors for Operation Parade, a program designed to showcase GM's Grenadier assault battle armor. At Trum's request his Operation Parade battalion was attached to the Hansen's Roughriders on the Federated Suns / Taurian Concordat border, where they assisted in counterinsurgency operations.
Following the Taurian invasion of the Suns in 3074, Trum's unit also participated in defense against the fanatical attackers, growing to have a cold and bitter hatred of the periphery power.[1]
Battle Armor[edit]
Trum was known to have initially piloted, during the FedCom Civil War, a suit of Cavalier battle armor. During the Word of Blake Jihad however he piloted Grenadier assault battle armor.[1]
